NEW Pop-R&B Soul singer, LU.ME, debuts with her first single, ‘Sana’

Releasing under AOR Global, SANA is a song written by AOR Global’s own dedicated team of experienced songwriters. The Pop-R&B track narrates the emotions of a person who is finding it almost impossible to confess their feelings to a friend, fearing that they might get rejected.
‘Sana’ will be accompanied with a music video on the day of release, filmed and directed by renowned music video director, Edrex Clyde Sanchez of ECSFilms.
Written in a way that is easy to understand and sure to touch the hearts of its listeners, LU.ME’s heartfelt and impactful delivery brings to life the tenderness of this soulful tune that will dominate your heart and soul.

ABOUT LU.ME
LU.ME is a 23-year-old bilingual Pop-R&B Soul singer from the Philippines. Drawing heavy influences from the likes of Jhene Aiko, Kehlani and Sabrina Claudio, she embodies the essence of a light that shines on the darker side of life, illuminating the hidden yet authentic experiences of what it means to be human through her tranquil and celestial voice.

Having grown up in an environment of vocal hobbyists, LU.ME began singing at the tender age of 6 at family karaoke nights and gatherings. This grew into classes at school and other extra-curricular activities. At 13, she became a student at Academy of Rock (AOR) Philippines and remains a proud alumni of the music school. During her time at AOR, she was given a myriad of performance opportunities to showcase her skills both in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia, through her being a member of both AOR Band Philippines and AOR Band Singapore.
Some of the highlights of her early career include opening for Yeng Constantino’s 2013 birthday concert at the Samsung Hall as well as being the opening act for Angeline Quinto and Erik Santos’ concert at the Araneta Coliseum in 2015.
Since then, she has gone on to do a couple of mall shows, TV guesting appearances, and guest hosting events. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, LU.ME had just completed her university education and decided to build an online presence for herself. Although she began on Soundcloud, she gathered a following on the livestreaming platform, KUMU, where she does daily singing livestreams and even won a Wildcard Campaign. LU.ME is also a member of the KUMU group, Kumuniqueens.
‘Sana’ is LU.ME’s debut single and the first of many to come as she takes her first steps into establishing her music career.
